Bike course is an out and back course. It's fast with one bridge-hill you will go over twice. You will travel less than one mile on HWY 98 and then follow CR 386 with very little traffic.
Uniformed men and volunteers will assist on the course. Sprint race participants will turn at the 7.5 mile mark and come back to the park. Olympic racers keep going until they reach 12.5 mile mark and return. Please watch for volunteers and signage. Our experince has been that you can expect a head wind on the way out and nice tail wind on the way back. (Of course, that may be different on the race day as the weather can be unpredictable.)
Olympic distance participants will have a chance to grab a water bottle with a sports cap at the turn around.
